Process
Eight stages from first message to final delivery.
A predictable process keeps projects calm. You always know what we are working on, what we need from you and what happens next.
Project stages
Stage 1:
Discovery
Understand the business, audience, goals, budget and requirements.
We start with a conversation about what you want to achieve and why. We ask about your customers, your current tools and any constraints, and we are honest if something is not a good fit.
What we need from you
Context about your business, goals, timeline and budget range.
Stage 2:
Strategy & Proposal
Determine scope, deliverables, approach, estimated timeline and pricing.
We translate the conversation into a written proposal: what will be delivered, what is excluded, the estimated timeline, milestones, price and payment schedule. You can review it securely in the client portal.
What we need from you
Feedback on the proposal and any open questions.
Stage 3:
Agreement & Deposit
Confirm the proposal, contract, payment terms and responsibilities.
Once the proposal is accepted, we confirm the agreement and the payment terms for your project. Deposit and payment schedules are set per proposal — they are not the same for every engagement.
What we need from you
Signed agreement and the first payment, as defined in your proposal.
Stage 4:
Design & Planning
Prepare creative direction, wireframes, brand assets, architecture or specifications.
Depending on the service, this means creative exploration, wireframes, a content plan, a technical architecture or a production schedule. Important decisions are made here, before production begins.
What we need from you
Content, brand assets, access to accounts and timely feedback.
Stage 5:
Development & Production
Build the website, application, visual assets, videos or other deliverables.
We build and produce the approved work. For larger projects, progress is shared in stages through milestones in the client portal, so there are no surprises at the end.
What we need from you
Answers to questions as they come up.
Stage 6:
Client Review
Share work for review, collect feedback, manage revisions and approvals.
Deliverables are submitted for your review. You can approve them or request changes within the agreed scope. Each decision is recorded so everyone knows what has been signed off.
What we need from you
Consolidated feedback within the agreed review rounds.
Stage 7:
Final Delivery
Deliver approved work, configure services and complete launch or handover.
We launch the website or application, deliver final files, configure the services you need and walk you through anything you will manage yourself.
What we need from you
Final approval and any outstanding payment.
Stage 8:
Ongoing Support
Maintenance, creative services or technical support, where agreed.
Many clients continue with maintenance, content or development support. These arrangements are defined separately, with a clear monthly scope.
What we need from you
Requests through the client portal or agreed channel.
(—)Not every project is linear
Some engagements follow a different rhythm.
Recurring services
Social media management, content production and maintenance run in monthly cycles: plan, produce, approve, publish or deploy, report — then repeat.
Phased software projects
Applications and SaaS products are often delivered in phases. Each phase has its own scope, milestones and review, so you can launch a reliable core first.
Small, single deliverables
A logo refresh or a set of social graphics may compress several stages into a few days. The steps are the same; they simply move faster.
(+)Client portal
Proposals, milestones and approvals in one place.
Clients with an active project receive access to a private portal. You can review and respond to proposals, follow milestones, review deliverables, request changes within the agreed scope, download files and see invoices with payment instructions.
