Development & Technology — Mobile App Development

Mobile apps planned carefully, from the first screen to the app store listing.

We help businesses define, design and develop iOS and Android applications — including the backend, notifications, testing and release process that a working app depends on.

(01)Overview

About mobile app development

A mobile app is a long-term product, not a one-off file. Before development, we define who the app is for, which tasks it must make easier and whether a mobile app is actually the right tool compared with a responsive web application.

Depending on the requirements, we recommend cross-platform development to serve iOS and Android from one codebase, or native development where device features or performance demand it. Most apps also need a backend for accounts, data and notifications, which we plan alongside the app itself.

(02)Problems it solves

Sound familiar?

  • 01

Customers expect to interact with your business from their phone.

  • 02

You have a product idea and need a realistic plan to build it.

  • 03

Field teams need a tool that works on the go, sometimes offline.

  • 04

An existing app is unstable or difficult to update.

(03)Deliverables

What you receive

The exact deliverables and quantities for your project are confirmed in your proposal.

Product definition
Core user journeys, feature priorities and platform decisions documented.
App interface design
Screens that respect iOS and Android conventions while keeping your brand.
Backend and APIs
Accounts, data storage and business logic the app relies on.
App development
Cross-platform or native development according to the agreed approach.
Testing
Testing on real devices and through beta distribution before public release.
Store submission
Preparation of store listings and support through App Store and Google Play review.

(04)Process

How a mobile app development project runs

  1. Step 1

    Planning

Audience, key journeys, platforms and success criteria are agreed.

  2. Step 2

    Platform and architecture

We choose cross-platform or native and design the backend.

  3. Step 3

    UX and interface design

Flows are prototyped so you can test the experience early.

  4. Step 4

    Development sprints

Features are built in stages and shared through test builds.

  5. Step 5

    Beta and release

Feedback from testers is addressed, then the app is submitted to the stores.

(05) Capabilities

  • Cross-platform development for iOS and Android
  • Native modules where device features require them
  • Push notifications
  • Authentication and user accounts
  • Offline-friendly data handling where needed
  • App store release management

(06) Optional add-ons

  • Admin dashboard for app content
  • Marketing website for the app
  • App store graphics and preview videos
  • Ongoing updates and OS compatibility maintenance

Add-ons are quoted separately and only included when listed in your proposal.

(07) Timeline

Mobile apps vary widely. A focused first version usually takes several months including design, backend, testing and store review. Store review times are outside our control, so we plan buffer for them. We do not quote fixed prices for apps until the scope is defined.

(08)Questions

Mobile App Development: frequently asked

Should I build for iOS, Android or both?

It depends on your audience and budget. Cross-platform development often makes it practical to launch on both. We look at where your users are before recommending an approach.

Do I need a backend?

Most apps with accounts, shared data or notifications do. We design the backend together with the app so both are maintained consistently.

Will you publish the app under my developer account?

Yes. The app should be published under your business's own App Store and Google Play accounts, and we guide you through setting them up.
